Taylor Sampson (American b. 2003) is a graphic designer and artist whose work explores the intersection of his own queer identity, perceived truisms of southern Americana, and intimacy. Sampson draws from his own, and his peers' shared perspectives as navigators for professing queer joy and lived experiences underneath a phallogocentric society.
Sampson is completing his BFA in Graphic Design at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC). Sampson has previously exhibited his work within UTC’s past two juried student shows at the Institute of Contemporary Art: Beginnings (2023) and Nature’s Dialogue (2024). He currently works and resides in Chattanooga as a Design Intern for the creative agency, Whiteboard.
